ANTI-ADHESIVE UNIT ADZ-700:  The unit applies an anti-adhesive liquid on the top and bottom surface of the panel to ease a good cleaning of the
work piece being processed.

Pre-milling unit FI-502:  Rectifies the face of the panel that has to be edged before applying the glue. The use of this unit produces a flat, even surface ideal to apply the proper amount of glue for a thin glue line. Complete with 2 high frequency 12000 rpm and 3,5 KW motors and cutters H=65 mm (diamond tools on the unit)

The machining of the PRE-MILLING unit ensures a chip-free finish thanks to:

• horizontal and vertical movement of the 2 motors on precision linear guides,

• independent automatic “Jump timing” intervention of the two motors,

• air blower to clean the milled surface of the panel before the glue application,

• the AUTO-SET device: ensures optimum positioning of the cutters according to the thickness of the panel

being machined.

PANEL INFRARED HEATING LAMP IRL-700.

Carries out the heating of the panel edge before the glue application

Glue reservoir and glue spreading roller. The spreading roller is complete with a copying system to apply the correct amount of glue to the panel. Device for the quick exclusion of the glue pot. No adjustment required when the panel thickness changes. Quick heating and double thermostat for differentiated temperature control. The glue pot is completely coated with non-adhesive material. Electronic device for automatic temperature reduction of the glue pot when the machine has been idle for a set period of time. Glue roller which turns with the direction of the panel. Quick change of the glue pot for easy & fast maintenance or changing color or type of glue.

PRE-MELT UNIT QM-703 for EVA hot-melt glue.  Facilitates glue colour/type changing and feeds the glue container according to consumption. The glue is melted

at 180°C and then sent to the glue container. Includes the following:

• Granulated glue container with capacity of approx. 3 kg, rapid glue changing.

• pre-melt unit.

Edge pressure roller system with timed intervention rollers “RPT” consisting of:

• a first motorized roller (with clutch), diameter Ø100 mm, with independent pneumatic pressure adjustment.

• 2 idle rollers, diameter Ø60 mm, coated with non-adhesive material with pneumatic adjustment; they are opposing conical cones.

Edge pressure system is equipped with an NC axis driven by brushless motor and recirculating ball screw. It is possible to control the positioning of the edge pressing rollers according to the edge thickness to be applied.

End trimming unit IN-801

Carries out the trimming of excess edge at the front and rear portion of the panel.

Equipped with 2 high frequency motors (0,8 kW each) at 12.000 rpm complete with saw blades.

The cut can be straight or tilted, with an angle of between 0 and 15 degrees: the angle is displayed on a scale.

It includes:

• Pneumatic tilting with pre-selection of cutting angle between 0 and 15 degrees from control board.

• Great reliability and precision due to the sliding on large prismatic guides and long sliding blocks.

• Independent exclusion and tilting of the two end trimming motors.

• Dust extraction system which travels with each motor.

• FLEX system for edge trimming with controlled overhang (it enables to set from the control panel the cutting position of the blades, in order to obtain a pre-set overhang of the edge being trimmed. Ideal for applications that require corner rounding, in particular on soft/post-formed panels).

Tilting top and bottom trimming unit RI-501

Carries out top and bottom trimming or fine finishing of the edge being applied, using 2 high frequency 12000 rpm motors (0,65 kW each), complete with front and vertical rotating self-cleaning disk copiers and suction hoods. The unit can also machine edges with door sealing gasket. The unit can be tilted from 0 to 45 degrees (indication of the angle on a graded scale) using the UNIPOINT system and is complete with 8 numerical indicators to facilitate adjustments. The top unit is self-adjusting according to panel height. Made form a single, monolithic, high-rigidity structure ensuring precise machining. On Akron 440 compositions H the unit is equipped with 4 NC axes driven by brushless motors and recirculating ball screws. It is possible to select and command the positioning of the cutters and copying devices from the control board to obtain all possible machining operations with the MULITFUNCTION cutters (e.g. thin edges + R=3 mm + solid wood strips). The working angle of the motor is locked.

Multifunction 2 motor corner rounding unit CR-200V:

The unit carries out the CORNER ROUNDING and the TOP AND BOTTOM TRIMMING on panels edged with synthetic material up to max edge thickness of 3 mm, using 2 high frequency 12000 rpm motors (0,65 kW each). The CORNER ROUNDING processing is possible both on panels with straight profiles and standard POSTSOFT/formed panels with 90 and 180 degrees. High finishing quality thanks to: movement on linear guides with recirculating ball screws, vertical oscillating copying system, frontal copying device with PRE-COPYING system. Dust extraction system on each motor for a constant clean finish of the materials. FOUR POSITIONS FAST SYSTEM included: device for the pneumatic positioning of the corner rounding unit, controlled from the switchboard, fast and without manual adjustments for 3 different thin edges and 1 thick edge (e.g.: 3 mm). Profile Edge Scraper RBK with pnuematic exclusion

Flat Glue Scraper RCC-701 Auto-aligning with the panel surface and auto-adjusting with the thickness to remove the exceeding residue in the junction panel-edge. Complete with turning discs copying device and flat blade knifes.

Buffing unit SP-501  To carry out the cleaning and polishing of the applied edge using cloth disc brushes. The unit is tiltable and selfadjusting

to the panel height. It includes two 0,37 kW motors at 2800 rpm.

Hot air blower PH-501 To reactivate the color of thick plastic (i.e. 3mm pvc/abs) after the scraping operation. Fitted with a hot air blower,

2000 W , with adjustable temperature control.
