2004 Timesavers Vision - 3 Head 52" Sander - dual twin pad orbital heads with Quickwood rotary brush head. Timesavers Model #7331-05-338. The machine features a 38" constant pass line height, color touch screen PLC controller that controls all main machine functions, vacuum conveyor bed feed system with a 40 HP Baldor vacuum blower and silencer. Larger optional 15HP conveyor feed motor with a variable speed range from 20 - 60 FPM. Internet interface with rear viewing feed camera. Quiet, below 90dbA operation. Sanding motion is a dual motion orbit with the direction counter to feed direction. 7.5 HP Baldor motor. Head #2 - 52" Orbital Top Head, twin 5" pads with rubber coated quick change platens. Head #3 - Quickwood Pro 1400 Oscillating Rotary brush with eight 14" x 20" Uniflex brushes. 10 HP motor. Quickwood Head Details; (1) 8-Brush/load head with (1) carousel head with (4) double arbor heads of (8) counter-rotating spindles. (4) Carousel Heads: Staggered left/right and center mounted for carousel operation. Spindles hold approx. (344) discs or a combination of QUICK abrasive discs, nylon brushes, or nylon impregnated discs. 14" Max. disc dia., brush loadings mounted on a slight angle to create an oscillating motion. Designed for the final production step before finishing, the brush head prepares surfaces for the proper adhesion of finishes, removing wax oils and fibers. A variety of sanding tools can be mounted on removable spindles for quick changes. The brush heads allow for sander to preform contour and denibbing sanding as well. Dual Motion Twin Pad Orbital Heads. The dual motion twin pad sanding head was designed to remove cross grain scratches in kitchen cabinet doors, face frames, furniture components, and interior and exterior door. Two 5" quick change platens in each head improve the finish, increase abrasive life and allow higher feed speeds. Four quick change platens allow for the use of various abrasive grits. The PLC controller allows for "Recipes" to be created and stored in one-touch machine settings, proactive alerts for recommended service, remote programming via the Internet and Intranet. A software upgrade allows for the analyzing of the machines productivity and performance in real time, as well as production reports on the machine operator to be developed, providing management with important information to maximize productivity. The software also allows for remote trouble shooting and diagnosis via Ethernet connection by Timesavers technicians. As the machines pass line height is changed by altering the hieght of the conveyor bed the machines whole frame simultaneously moves up and down to keep to pass line height constant. Thus regardless of the position of the bed the machine automatically compensates to keep the feed hieght the same.
