Mid-Oregon Model MS-14 Gang Ripsaw "Rollfeed" Working capacity: 2-1/8” maximum rip thickness; 49” rip-to-center capacity for panels; rigid “C” shape offers capacity for wide rips and panel. Arbor: 50 HP Bottom arbor 4,000 RPM motor; 2-3/4” dia. X 14” long spindle for constant geometry at every load or speed; arbor accepts 12 diameter blades. Undercutting blade is an important advantage providing maximum safety, productivity, and rigidity. Over-cutting saws tend to pick up the edgings and slivers, kicking back at the operator. In comparison, undercutting blades hold edging down against the table rolls. Feed: Variable speed feed drive from 50 to 300 FPM; hydraulically driven top rolls can be independent, canted, or run in line; no sprockets or U-joints; saw can be set up for maximum yield. Feed works with (3) top powered feedrolls, 12-1/2” center to center over arbor; double kickback protection; double exhaust (lower and upper). Heavy end plates facilitate bolting or welding material handling equipment to saw frame. |
