Boring Machine for single hole routing system for use with material from 1/2″ – 1-3/4″ thickness; CASTLE’S “A-Frame” motor carriage is engineered to first route a pocket and then drill a pilot hole from the other direction. Equipped with: 1.5 HP 1PH PORTER CABLE router w/standard “4-flute” router bit for pocket routing and PORTER CABLE #7301 drill for pilot hole drilling with 9/64″ brad point drill bit; foot pedal actuated cycle, will cycle as quickly as (2) Cycles/Sec. The large 2″ dia. holddown cylinder firmly clamps material and the low 6° boring angle minimizes shifting, reduces screw breakout and splitting.
