The heavy duty Hauncher is used to make cuts (notches) along the edge of the board. The horizontal spindle moves hydraulically past the table with the board clamped. A back up board in the table and a climb cut assure the clean cut, even on cross grain. Material air clamps and spindles motion are actuated by a foot switch. An adjustable back fence sets the depth of cut.
