Butfering's Classic widebelt sanders are designed to sand solid wood and veneered and sealer-coated panels. Model 213-CC is equipped with two sanding units which offer a broad range of capabilities to small and medium-sized shops. The sander features Butfering's patented CPS electronic segmented technology that allows a workpiece to be scanned as it enters the sander and then directs sanding operations on each segment of the workpiece. 2-Head, 53" width cap. ideal for thin veneer and lacquer sanding. 1,320 X 2,620 mm, or 52" X 103" BELT SIZE. 1st Head: Steel contact rolls with 85* shore (grooved) with segmented platen, 52-25 mm wide segments pneumatically controlled with variable edge pressure, 25 HP motor inverter drive for 30 - 60 FPS belt speed, abrasive belt. 2nd Head: Combination head with rubber covered contact roll and segmented polishing platen, 52-25 mm wide segments pneumatically controlled with variable edge pressure, 20 HP motor inverter drive for variable abrasive belt speed 5 - 40 FPS. Outfeed rotary panel/fill smoothing brush 5HP motor. Air jet abrasive belt cleaning on both heads. Computer control LED terminal, (50) sanding programs for automatic setup, automatic positioning of contact roll. Conveyor belt feed, 8 - 42 FPM variable feed speed, 2 HP feed drive, vacuum bed assembly with 4.7HP suction fan, constant passline height of conveyor bed assembly. Automatic conveyor belt tracking, 0" - 6" motorized thickness adjustment with LED readout. |
